The Comet crew did a great job removing our in-ground pool and surrounding concrete. They were able to squeeze us in with another job to align with our schedule. They helped facilitate all the necessary permits. They took their time making sure our yard was smooth and level before seeding. Deb woodworth8 September 2026Haslett (near East Lansing) Removal of our 55 yr old 20x40 -12 ft deep gunite pool was completed by this great team of guys, Chris, Alec, Garrett and Dan. All knowledgeable and very polite. The communication from start to finish was great, including Corrine in the office. The guys also removed our filter system, part of the concrete patio, and lots of big boulders, and a tree stump near the pool area. Even cleaned and swept the street where the trucks were parked. ALL the details were handled, which we appreciated by us and our close neighbors. AND, now we are watching the grass fill in nicely! Highly recommend Comet Pool Services!Posted on Google

Dan Horan24 June 2026We had Comet Services remove our in ground pool last year. They did a great job! We called them back this year as we had additional questions about the dirt settling. Chris and his team came back out, added additional dirt, reseeded and laid straw on top with no additional charge. We didn’t expect that. Can’t say enough about this company. Definitely 5 stars. I have been looking forward to this large demolition project and Chris and his team worked hard to ensure proper care was taken during the process, including accessing the yard from the behind business. They ensured the yard and fence returned to the same state as it was. The team was very professional and respectful and went above and beyond to make sure the work was done well and correctly. Even when encountering the unexpected foundation from decades ago, Chris worked to carefully remove to allow regrading of the lawn. I would highly recommend them to any outdoor construction based project. I had a vinyl liner 20x30 pool with concrete slabs weighing it down and Comet diligently removed everything with ease. On top of that, they filled the whole with dirt and added seed/topsoil/straw as well as instructions.Posted on Google

Laurie Blacker10 November 2025No pool here, but we did have an old concrete patio that was sinking and creating all sorts of trip hazards and pooling issues. For 1/4 of the cost to raise and level the concrete, Chris and his crew removed it all. Now we get a fresh start where we can create a new living space with grass and a deck.
